Steph came back and the Warriors came back. Golden State ended their 4 game losing streak against the Bulls, with Curry leading the way with 32 points in 30 minutes. But we saw Steph in a lot of pain, and even felt on he´s tailbone again.
All the five starters on the Warriors scored on double digits, and for the Bulls Nikola Vucevic led the team with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams came out hot, shooting over 50% in the first quarter, and Steph scored 13 in the first. Until the 3rd, it was a good game, but a great second half for the Warriors got them the win.
Curry got help, once again Andrew Wiggins had a good game with 21 points, and Kelly Oubre got a double double ( 18 pts 11 reb). The rookie, James Wiseman also had a good game. He scored 12 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and he had 4 blocks (career high) and we saw lots of pick and roll of Wiseman with Curry, which is a good sign. Draymond Green scored in double digits, he had 11 points with 3 three pointers (season high) including one half-court shot.
For the Bulls, Zach Lavine had a bad game. He only scored 12 points on 4 from 16 shooting. But Vucevic wasn´t the only guy on the Bulls with a good game. Patrick Williams had 14 points on 7 of 13 shooting, and Tomas Satoransky also had 14.
The second unit of the Warriors actually played pretty good. Kent Bazemore had 9 points on 100% shooting. Kevon Looney has moved to 8-0 against the Bulls in his career, and tonight he didn´t score but he had 4 boards and 4 assists. The Warriors shot 42% from 3 and 50% overall and they move to 23-24.
Their next game is against the Heat on Thursday.
