Bucks 121 - 122 Warriors

WHAT A WIN! The Warriors ended their 3 game losing streak against the Bucks in an amazing game. Steph led the way with 41 points and 5 threes and Kelly Oubre came up clutch with 10 points in the 4th quarter and the game-winning free throws. The Warriors move to 24/27 and with the Pelicans defeat, they are 1.5 games ahead of them.

The Dubs came out hot, with a 18-5 run to start, but the Bucks came to play, and led by Middleton and Holiday, the lead was only 2 at the end of the 1st. In the 2nd quarter the Warriors did what they always do. The Bucks started the quarter on a 10-2 run to take a 6 point lead. But led by Wiseman and Poole, the Warriors got back in the game and when Curry came back, the Dubs had the lead. We saw lots of PnR (Pick and Roll) between Poole and Wiseman, and the rookie actually had his best half as a warrior, he had 11 points, 10 rebounds, 1 block and his +- was +9.

In the second half, the Bucks came out strong, and they took the lead in the third. Their biggest lead was 12, but Curry's 19 points in the 3rd gave the Warriors life, and they were only losing by 5 at the end of the quarter. In the 4th the 2nd unit did a great job keeping the Warriors in the game, and Steve Kerr subbed the starters in in the 8 minute mark, 2 minutes before he usually does. But the Bucks shooting was too good, Milwaukee shot 68% from the field in the 3rd and in the 4th they shot 6 from 10 from 3, and in the 2nd half they shot 10 from 17 from behind the line, which is just amazing. It looked like the Bucks would win this one, because they had a 10 point lead with 4 minutes remaining. ]

But the Warriors didn't give up, and they went on a 14-1 run to take a 3 point lead. In that run, Draymond Green made a foul and he got fouled out with 2 minutes remaining. After the run, Middleton made 2 free throws to make it a 1 point game. In the next possesion, Bazemore shot a tough layup and it was blocked by Brook Lopez. The referees called a goaltend to check it, and in a close call, they changed it to a block. Then, in a crazy sequence, Connaughton missed a three and after a couple of rebonds, Holiday grabbed the ball and made an easy layup to give the Bucks the lead. It was 121 - 120 with 29.1 remaining. In the next play, Wiggins got a wide open 3, but he missed. Oubre grabbed the rebound, shot, and he was fouled. Then, he made, two clutch free throws to take the lead. With 7.7 seconds remaining, the Bucks gave it to Middleton, who got blocked by Wiggins, and the Warriors take the win.

Stats: Steph Curry scored a game high 41 points, his 4th 40 point game of the season, shooting on a great 14 of 21 from the field and 50% from 3. Kelly Oubre had a great game, he had 19 points with 4 threes, with 10 of those points in the 4th. Bazemore also gave help, with 18 points and 100% from 3. James Wiseman had his 3rd double double, 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Milwaukee was led by Holiday, who had 29 points, shooting on a great 64% from the field. Middleton was also great, he made 28 points and 7 assists. Jeff Teague helped, he had 15 points on 5 from 7 from the field and Bobby Portis had a double double, 13 points and 13 rebounds.
