A tough win against Sacramento makes the Dubs go above 0.500% and 1.5 games behind the 7th seed. The Dubs have won 7 of their last 9, and on tuesday they have the most important game in the remainder of the season against Dallas, the 6th seed. Steph Curry led the way for Golden State with 37 points, 7 boards, 4 assists and 7 threes. Sacramento had 3 players who scored 20+ (Barnes, Hield, Haliburton) but it wasn't enough.
The Kings started pretty good, and they took an early lead, and they were leading by 7 at the end of the first. Curry made a crazy half court shot, he had 11 in the first, and the Dubs shot 61%, but it wasn't enough. Sacramento shot 60% in the opening period, and they were led by Harrison Barnes, the former warrior, who had 14 points and 4 threes.
In the second quarter, the Kings did a good job holding on to that 7 point lead, they even led by 9, but then the Warriors went on a 18-7 run to take the lead. Curry had 23 in the first half, Oubre had 12 and Hield scored 19.
In the third, Mychal Mulder started on fire. Three straight 3s gave the Warriors the lead. The game went back and forth (the biggest lead of the period was 6) and the Dubs were leading by 2 at the end of the 3rd. Barnes had 7 in quarter, Hield had 6, Curry scored 10 and Mulder added 9.
In the 4th, the Kings started good. They took advantage of the 2nd unit struggles to go on a 17-4 run to take the lead. Curry came back a minute before he usually does. Steph played very bad in the 4th though. 0/4 from the field, 0/3 from 3 and a turnover that almost lost the game. Sacramento had the lead with 2 minutes remaining, but Oubre, scored some big buckets to take the lead. With a minute remaining, the Dubs were leading by three, and Holmes had a wide open layup to make it a one point game, but Curry appeared out of nowhere to block the shot. Sacramento still had the ball though, and Haliburton made a bucket to cut the lead to 1. The Kings trapped Curry, and he turned it over. Buddy Hield had a wide open layup to take the lead, but he fumbled it away, and the Warriors gained the ball again. Steph couldn't believe it, but luckily that didn't cost the game. Then, the Kings fouled Curry, but he missed a free throw. Sacramento had a chance, but Harrison Barnes missed the three. Big Win to go above 0.500% and to get one step closer to the 8th and 7th seed.
Stats: Even though he had a bad 4th quarter, Steph Curry had his 13th 30 point game in the last 14 games. Tonight it was 37 points, 7 boards and 4 dimes to lead the Warriors. Draymond Green came up big again, he added 8 points, 13 assists, 14 rebounds. Oubre was once again the leading scorer of the second unit, with 19 points and 7 rebounds.

Tomorrow the Dubs take on the Mavs in a huge game for both teams. Dallas defeated the Lakers twice this weekend, and they're 6th in the Western Conference.
