The Warriors fell to Miami yesterday in a tough, close game. The 36 points from Steph Curry and the 23 from ndrew Wiggins weren´t enough for a team who got punished by their 20 turnovers and 26 fouls. Draymond Green provided help offensively, with 16 points on 53% from the field, he was huge for Golden State. The injuries, once again, didn´t help the Warriors, because Kevon Looney and JOrdan Poole (6 and 9 points) rolled their ankles in the 4th and din´t return. Steve Kerr said ´´that they are doing well´´ but we don´t know clearly their status. Wiseman and Oubre were the bad side for the Warriors, with the rookie only scoring 4 points and turning the ball over 5 times, while Oubre only had 8. The shooting was good, the Warriors shot 43.9% from the field and 40.5% from 3.
For Miami, it was a team effort, with 3 players scoring 20+ ( Robinson, Butler, Herro) and 6 players on double digits. Andre Iguodala was huge for the Heat, he had 10 points, all in the second half. Oladipo struggled, he had 6 points on 25% from the field and 0 from 4 from long distance.
There were a couple of uncalled travels in the 3rd that made Steve Kerr furious, he even got a technical foul and he was close to get ejected. The Warriors play on Friday against the Raptors to end a back to back, and the move to 23-25.
